Nov 29th, 2002 - 4TheBest.net has released QwkPatch, a Miva Merchant module which patches various exploits or validation limitations of the Miva Merchant software by doing additional system checks to help make sure customers can not do things they should not be able to do.
The initial public release of QwkPatch is version 1.3 which patches problems related to customers being able to bypass paying for shipping, tax, and in some cases paying anything. It also corrects bugs that allow shoppers to add items to their basket that are in availabilty groups they are not a member of, and various methods of adding upsale items to their basket they shouldn't be able to add.
