May 10 2004 - 4TheBest eCommerce Solutions has announced it's firm support for the new 4.23 version of Miva Merchant and claims that when used with the latest version of the Miva Empresa virtual machine the combination is very stable as well as being the best Miva Merchant release ever seen.
All the known critical stability issues with Miva Merchant and the Miva Empresa virtual machine, as well as numerous small ones, have been taken care of.

The new version adds two new features of real significance that might be overlooked on casual examination. One is the long awaited, by some, ability to control what fields get displayed on the product page, and the other is the ability to configure your own custom fields for products.
By allowing a merchant to get rid of fields like code and weight from the product screen and then display other values there that are specific to there industry, the software suddenly takes a large jump forward in ability to serve the needs of merchants without the need to seek out third party modules.
